Dr. Saman Souri, D.M.D.

Dr. Souri is a graduate of University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. He has completed four years of intensive training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at New York Medical College. His training also included one year of general surgery, general anesthesia training and rotations in medicine, trauma surgery, neurosurgery, head and neck and plastic surgery.

Dr. Souri is well trained in general anesthesia and performs many surgical procedures under IV sedation and general anesthesia in office setting. His special interests are dental implants, bone grafting, facial trauma, facial reconstruction, corrective jaw surgery, distraction osteogenesis and pediatric cleft surgery. He attended humanitarian missions and has performed cleft surgery on children in underprivileged parts of the world.

Dr. Souri is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Maryland Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

Dr. Souri’s goal is to make his patients feel comfortable and relaxed. He listens to the patient’s concerns and helps to provide solutions leading to the patient’s better health. He has been treating patients for over 10 years for wisdom teeth, difficult extractions, dental implant, bone augmentation, facial trauma, and corrective jaw surgery. Dr. Souri enjoys spending time with friends and family, jogging, skiing, and traveling.
